Miami Grove FC Set Sights on National Finals for Upcoming UPSL Women Season
Miami Grove FC Women are entering the upcoming UPSL Women Spring Season with confidence and championship ambitions after establishing themselves as one of the premier semi-professional programs in the country. Based in Miami, Florida, Miami Grove FC is a semi-professional women’s soccer club founded in 2024 with a clear mission: to provide a highly competitive and professional environment for local talent to develop, perform, and gain visibility.
Since its founding, Miami Grove FC Women have quickly become one of the top teams in Florida and a rising force nationally. The club captured the Fall 2025 Florida South Conference regular season championship with an undefeated record and previously finished second in the Spring 2025 campaign. The team also went undefeated during the Fall 2024 season, demonstrating remarkable consistency and competitiveness over the past few seasons.
“As a community-driven organization, we are proud to compete in the UPSL—a league that expands access to high-level competition across U.S. for female players and gives semi-professional clubs a clear, affordable pathway to compete at a strong national standard on the women’s side,” said Miami Grove FC Head Coach Manuel Arias. “The UPSL creates what matters most: opportunity. It brings together elite local talent that is often overlooked by hard-to-reach leagues and gives players the stage to compete, grow, and showcase themselves.”
Miami Grove’s roster has consistently featured elite-level talent, with players advancing to the professional ranks each year. The club has also attracted high-level international and professional experience, including Honduran National Team players Johana Espinal and Barbara Murillo, as well as players with proven professional success such as Sofía Carvajal of Birkirkara FC in Malta, and many more high-level female players from across the world.
Arias added, “in Fall 2025, we captured the UPSL Florida Conference Championship, and we’re now focused on building that momentum. Our goal is clear: earn qualification and compete at the 2026 UPSL Women National Finals in California this summer, representing Miami with pride and continuing to elevate women’s soccer at the semi-pro level.”
