UPSL Women Expands to Pacific Northwest, Announces New Conference Manager

November 5th, 2024

The United Premier Soccer League has announced that the UPSL Women division has expanded, with a brand-new conference being announced in the Pacific Northwest.

Covering the states of Washington and Oregon, the new Pacific Northwest Women conference will start Spring 2025 and be managed by incoming conference manager and Washington-native Daghan Kesim.

In addition to coaching both men’s and women’s on professional outdoor and indoor soccer teams in the local area, Kesim is also the founder of UPSL Premier Division club Gala FC, based near Seattle, WA.

“I’m very excited about the launch of the UPSL Women Pacific Northwest conference, and the opportunity to help grow the women’s side of the game” explains Kesim. “Having coached at every level on the men’s and women’s side across the US and in the state of Washington for the past 25 years, I’m very familiar with the level of talent in the Pacific Northwest region.”

“The UPSL is a national platform that can help open so many doors for all of the talented female players here in the Pacific Northwest.  My biggest goal is continuing to help grow and promote the game for all female players in our region.”

Applications for the Spring season are now being accepted. Clubs that commit prior to December 1, 2024, will receive a free set of 22 custom uniforms.

Clubs new and current to the UPSL can secure their spot by contacting UPSL Women’s National Director Amer Mian at [email protected] or visit www.upsl.com for more information.
