May 7, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce San Angelo United Football Club as its newest expansion club ahead of the 2021 Spring Season.

Based in San Angelo, TX, San Angelo United FC will begin UPSL play in the West Texas Conference in the UPSL Women's inaugural season. The club will host its home games at Old Bobcat Stadium on the campus of Angelo State University (1000 Pulliam Street, San Angelo, TX 76903).

Jose Cuellar is the Owner and President of San Angelo United FC. The team will participate exclusively in the UPSL.

UPSL Women Director Paul Caligiuri said, "We are so excited to welcome San Angelo United FC to the UPSL. We know that they will bring a high level of competition and serve an integral role as a part of the women's inaugural season. We wish San Angelo United FC well as the club prepares to begin its journey as a member of UPSL Women."

Josh Martinez serves as the Assistant Coach for San Angelo United FC. Courtney Green and Rachelle Flores are the Personal Trainers.

"The opportunity presented itself with the expansion into West Texas and San Angelo has lots of hidden talent that has to travel 3-to-4 hours to get any type of real play," Cuellar said. "So what better time than now to join the UPSL and keep making history in our home town?
